Wolf Valley CL Site- The ideal location to enjoy a short break or stop over in peaceful and tranquil countryside

Possibly the most famous and well know of the attractions of Devon is the Dartmoor National Park. Covering a staggering 368 square miles of Devon countryside it is able to offer near endless walking opportunities. The views that can be enjoyed from the top of the tors are breathtaking and simply unrivalled. Our site is approximately 6 miles from the edge of Dartmoor meaning that it will be right on your doorstep during your say.
Lydford Gorge
is the largest of its kind in the South West. The River Lyd flows from the
southerly hills of Dartmoor National Park and through the gorge. Owned and
maintained by the National Trust since 1947, the gorge features the 100 ft (30
metre) high 'White Lady Waterfall' and a series of whirlpools known as the
'Devil's Cauldron'.
Lydford Gorge is 14 miles from our caravan site and
less than a 20 minute drive. This unique natural attraction is a fantastic day
out for all.
The nearest town to our caravan site is Launceston (8 miles) which can be found just inside the Cornish border. A key element to the town is the historic presence of Launceston Castle which dominates the surrounding landscape. The castle is thought to date back to 1067 and was raised by the half brother of William the Conqueror shortly after the Norman conquest.
Just 2 miles from our site is the Dingles Steam Village at Milford. Here you can find up to 45 steam engines which are included in displays nationwide. Two road engines are in steam every open day powered by a diesel fired industrial boiler called 'Bertie'. Visitors can also take in the collection of old road signs.
Dingles Fairground Heritage
Centre:
The site also includes the centre for fairground
heritage and is the only site in the UK designed to capture the magic of a
bygone age through exhibits, vintage engineering and stunning artwork
displays.

We are lucky
enough to have two high quality 18 hole golf courses within 10 miles of our
site, both offering stunning countryside views. For more information on either
of these please visit their websites:

We have promotional material on all of the local attractions on site and will be more than happy to give you any more information on these upon your arrival or point you in the direction of a good day out!
